Spionkop Nature Reserve

Visitors can view panoramas that stretch from hot valley bushveld across to the DrakensbergMountains,  often covered in snow in the winter. Steeped in Anglo-Boer War history, the reserve boasts a rich  selection of wildlife amongst thorn savanna vegetation. Game drives, horse riding and battlefields.

Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre have daily raptor flight displays (10:30am) weather permitting, except Fridays.  

The Reptile Centre is open from Tuesday to Sunday. An opportunity to feel and learn about a range of reptiles. 

Drakensberg Honey, view in a Glass Hive and dress up in a Bee Suit and experience handling bees for yourself.  

 

Drakensberg Boy’s Choir Internationally acclaimed boy’s choir. A public performance is held every Wednesday afternoon if the boys are not on vacation or touring. 

 

Basotho Cultural Village A visit to the village will let you gain a deeper insight into traditions of the Basotho people. Guided tours are conducted daily, seven days a week.

 

Golden Gate National Highlands Park 115000ha of sandstone cliffs, large caves, bizarre rock formations, brilliant colours and rolling grasslands. Extensive plant, game and bird species.
